Some cars are just packing way too many horses under the hood. Sure, the more horsepower the better right? Well no. Not exactly. You can’t really use a Lamborghini Veneno’s 6.5 liter aspirated V12 engine on a busy London street now, can you?
1. Mustang Shelby GT500
With the 2013 model sitting with 662 horses under the hood, we ask, is it really worth it?
Gaining a 1/2 second advantage in the 1/4 mile and having it being able to destroy your tires, it’s a No from us.
2. Ferrari 488 GTB
The 488’s come with computerized driving aids, and a tiny minority only disable ’em. They control the
application of power, so some of the 661bhp isn’t used at all.
3. Corvette C7 Z06
The new c7 packs 650bhp compared to it’s 550bhp predecessor. It’s heavier and only performs a fraction of a second faster. It gets points for being sexy though.
4. Mercedes S65 AMG
If this car was still in high school, it’ll be that fat kid in your class that never stopped eating. This beast is heavy, with a fuel sucking V12. It packs 621bhp and similar in performance to the 577bhp s63 WITH A V8.
5. Dodge Viper SRT
The new Viper has 645bhp, up from the last gen by 45bhp. Not much of a difference, especially if it’s going to give you a fraction of a second in better performance.
